ENCE GmbH was first founded in Russia as an engineering company for solving equipment problems in production of nitrogen, phosphate and related fertilizers, ammonia synthesis and in allied productions. As a result, it is in this branch that the Company has got into most contacts with the plants and acquired a large experience in modifying and replacing of the out-of-date and life-expired equipment in basic and auxiliary processes.

The successful co-operation between our Company and chemical enterprises in Russia is due to the experienced and highly qualified staff of the Company's Moscow branch office. Our experts have got technical education, they used to work in research centres of technology development. Some dealt with supply of various technological equipment, package plants, spare parts and components to the above-mentioned enterprises at the time of the Soviet Union.

Irrespective of the task difficulty and the enquiry volume our Company sets to the task processing and, in any case, replies to every enquiry of each customer. There exist no "small" contracts for the Company, we supply spare parts to any amount on the customer’s demand. The goal of the Company’s experts is not to gain a one-off profit but to establish long-term contacts and to accomplish all the customer’s tasks by means of systematic work with each customer.

In the course of the last few years ENCE GmbH has enhanced the scope of its activity as regards gas-and-oil producing and refining factories in Russia.

The division of oil-and-gas industry was established within the subsidiary of ENCE GmbH in 2002. This branch of activities has been recently developing most rapidly and now it is the biggest in the Moscow subsidiary.

In 2003-2004 ENCE GmbH took part in the following projects carried out at enterprises engaged in oil-and-gas and petrochemical industries:

The Russian representative company of ENCE GmbH has made it a point to develop the engineering sphere of the mining industry. In concert with a number of Australian and South-African companies we have established a series of long-term projects regarding the optimization of mineral concentration on the stage of dry and wet ore separation. To cite an instance, there is a plan of using a separator segregating dry rock from ore with the help of optical (photometric and fluorescent), electromagnetic and radioactive separation methods.

On the stage of wet pulverization and ore classification we have developed an automated hydrocyclone unit complete with a slurry pump, a hydrocyclone battery, a control unit, stop and control valves.

Another branch of activities concerns the investigation of iron ore tailings processing by means of South-African magnetic separators for pulp and dry product. They investigate various quality control systems applied to different concentration stages using integrated automated sampling plants and composite chemical analysis of pulp in the pipelines and lumps or powder on the conveyor belt.

In 2003 there was established a division of cooperation with metallurgical plants. The employees of the division are well-qualified specialists in commerce. They have working experience in foreign trade companies like VAO Metallurgimport and VAO Tyazhpromexport well-known in the time of USSR. Other employees of the department are metallurgical engineers who worked in the metallurgical plants in Russia and possess experience in manufacturing.

The department deals with projects where a complex solution is required for the production reconstruction, for the selection and delivery of combined equipment, commissioning, after-sales warranty and post-warranty service of technological lines and separate units. The prospects are connected with the financial and technical contribution to the investment projects of the customers.

The affiliate of the company ENCE in Moscow actively develops function of design, supervision and service in the projects of the refractory materials replacement in furnaces, boilers and gas flues in aluminum, petrochemical and power industry. In 2007 in the company there was established a special refractory materials department, that comprises project-managers, engineers, and servicemen and supervisors.

Our company presents a wide range of monolithic refractory materials that meets the highest requirements of the customer and suggests different ways of materials applying and treating, in particular:

new variant of the detachable heat-acoustic lining for K-210-130 turbine, widely used in GRES (power station)

Each material has been developed on the basis of a long experience and tests under a close control and is manufactured according to the modern computer technology. The most important factor of lining quality rating is its service life. Advanced construction solutions applied at all production steps play a big role in reliability enhancement. Our subsidiary in Russia is looking forward to move ahead. It is eager to establish business contacts with new regions and new customers and works purposeful in this direction. In spite of the fact that there are 60 persons in Russia working with ENCE GmbH at the present moment, the firm OOO "ENCE GmbH" is going to enlarge its staff and has already advertised the vacancies of managers of oil and gas equipment and of mining and smelting equipment.

Besides, the firm is planning to set up the RD department for the needs of the ENCE Head Company. This department will be in charge of the fulfilment of the Company’s projects by means of the Russian subsidiaries and with the help of experienced and qualified experts from branch institutes in Russia.
